Johnson-Owner & Dog Trainer
Jerri is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer – Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA), Certified Behavior Consultant Canine – Knowledge Assessed (CBCC-KA), Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner (KPA-CTP), Certified Force Free Trainer, Certified Trick Dog Instructor, AKC Canine Good Citizen, Star Puppy, and Tricks Evaluator, and graduate of The Aggression in Dogs Master Course. These Credentials are some of the most well respected certifications in the dog training industry.
Jerri has cared for and trained animals since childhood. She has competed and or titled dogs in Good Citizenship, Obedience, Rally, Tricks, Barn Hunt, and Scent Work. In addition to more than 13 years as a professional dog trainer at Wagmore Canine Enrichment, Jerri has worked to inform and educate dog companion/handlers about science based, humane behavior solutions and training. Jerri is a member and has served on the board of Heartland Positive Training Alliance, worked as a volunteer at Wayside Waifs, and taught undergraduate dog behavior courses at the University of Kansas as well as volunteering space and study subjects for graduate research at the University of Kansas. Jerri has also mentored numerous other aspiring dog trainers to achieve certifications and work in this industry.
Jerri is a professional member of the Association for Professional Dog Trainers, the Karen Pryor Academy, and the Pet Professional Guild. All of these organizations require adherence to science based, non-aversive, training ethics and ethical business practices; and require continuing education to maintain membership.
Loewenstein-Owner & Daycare Manager
Jeannene is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer – Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA), AKC Canine Good Citizen, Star Puppy, and Tricks Evaluator. She is a Level 1 Certified Pet Care Technician. Jeannene holds both Bachelors and Masters degrees in Education from the University of Kansas. Her main responsibility with Wagmore is with the daycare and boarding. She fills in and assists with classes as needed. Jeannene’s passion for teaching and love of dogs has made this the perfect career for her. She loves watching the dogs grow, become confident, and see their personalities shine. And she enjoys the daily interaction with the clients and listening to them share their stories of their dogs. Jeannene serves on the board of the Heartland Positive Dog Training Alliance, a group of of trainers, pet professionals, and dog enthusiasts committed to positive training and handling. Jeannene enjoys spending time with her own dogs, attending seminars, and hanging out with other trainers.
