We will be moving our training center soon.

Our new location will be at 1733 Bullene Ave., Suite D/E.  That is just down the street from our daycare location.  We are awaiting the installation of our flooring. We will make an announcement and move as soon as we can (hopefully by the first week of February).

In our new location, we will be offering core courses in a rolling modular format.

Rolling modular format means no more long waits for the next class to start.  Because each session is a stand alone module, you can begin quickly and complete 5 sessions to cover all the topics in the course.  Core courses are puppy socialization and manners, basic manners and intermediate manners.   Topics, activity,  and advanced courses will still be offered in fixed linear format.

 

Puppy Socialization and Manners

For puppies < 16 weeks of age
$200 (5 sessions)  rolling modular format

Get you and your puppy’s life together started off on the right paw! This class is for brand new puppies. We will teach you about puppy development and socialization – why it is so important for young puppies to have varied, positive experiences with their world, and how you can help them navigate the process. 

Basic Manners

For dogs >16 weeks of age
$200 (5 sessions)  rolling modular format

Learn the methods that professional zoo trainers use to get amazing results. Our trainers will help you use classical conditioning to build a strong bond with your dog and teach you how to use positive reinforcement to train the most common basic manners behaviors.

Intermediate Manners

For dogs who have completed Basic Manners
$200 (5 sessions) rolling modular format

Learn the methods that professional zoo trainers use to get amazing results. Our trainers will help you use classical conditioning to build a strong bond with your dog and teach you how to use positive reinforcement to review basic manners behaviors and learn even more.

Reactive Dog 1 Tue 6:00pm

For dogs >16 weeks of age
$250

This course is designed to teach handlers how to teach their reactive dogs only the most important behaviors and cues needed to help manage and curb reactivity (i.e. barking and lunging at other dogs and people while on leash). Unlike our other classes, this class IS for those dogs that bark lunge, and are disruptive on leash.

This course is a continuation of Reactive Dog 1. This course teaches handlers the 2nd step in the reactive dog training progression.  This class is offered as rolling enrollment so you can sign up for one or several sessions.

Learn how to teach your dog progressive relaxation. This is a great course for dogs that are often described as hyperactive, anxious, and/or inattentive.  We will teach you how to recognize, and encourage relaxed behavior using proven techniques, used by trainers and veterinarians across the world.

Wagmore “Walk and Wag” Group Walks

Scheduled Group Walks and Hikes Open to dogs older than 16 weeks of age

$25/walk

Join one or more of our trainers for a group dog walk.  It’s a chance for you and your dog to explore great walks and hikes around Lawrence and socialize with other dog loving people.  Be sure to read full description and requirements before enrolling.
